The Final Conference and Progress meeting of the GEOBIZ project will be held from 10 to 11 November 2022 in Tirana at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Rectorate building, auditorium "Silvano Pedrollo" (2nd floor). The program for both days can be found at this link.

We are proud that this year's Progres meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE Ka2 "Business-driven problem-based learning for academic excellence in geoinformatics / GEOBIZ" project is being held during Erasmus days. In addition to the Progress meeting and the Project Management Board meeting, a special session will be held where the partner universities will present their results and impact from the GEOBIZ project.
The GEOBIZ project started in 2019 and we have many realized activities behind us. During #ERASMUSDAYS 2022, we organize GEOBIZ Open days, where we present a retrospective of the activities so far. We invite all those interested to follow us on our social networks, where they will be able to see presentations of project results and published publications, video galleries of project activities and live-chat with members of the project consortium.
Faculty of History and Philology (University of Tirana) and Faculty of Civil Engineering (Polytechnic University of Tirana), organized on September 23rd, 2022, the second Business Academia Workshop: "Modernization of curricula and continuing education to increase student skills and Business - University cooperation", in the frame of GEOBIZ Project_"Business driven problem-based learning for academic excellence in geoinformatics" (2019-2022) ), part of the ERASMUS+ CBHE Program.
Faculty of History and Philology organized on May 27th-28th, 2022, the third LLL course in GIS (Geographic Information Systems), in the framework of the GEOBIZ project – “Problem-based and business-oriented learning to achieve academic excellence in Geoinformatics" co-financed by the Erasmus + Program of the EU. The LLL course: “Analysing spatial patterns of noise in urban areas by mapping”, which was attended by 24 participants, was led by Prof. asoc. Dr. Sonila Papathimiu.
We are happy to inform you that Faculty of History and Philology (FHPH), University of Tirana organized the first LLL course. Course Statistical data utilization in GIS applications organized in Tirana, 29th and 30th March 2022 by Faculty of History and Philology, University of Tirana, in the frame of Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE project “Business driven problem-based learning for academic excellence in geoinformatics” - GEOBIZ. The LLL course was attended by 22 participants participants which gained knowledge of statistical data applications using appropriate tools in ArcGIS 10.8 program to their professional field to use that knowledge and advance their professional development.

The gathering took place at the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) premises.. In the second round of B-A, in cooperation with EMA, we organised a joint study practice as never stop learning (LLL), with the topic: "Practical implementation of geoinformation in emergency management"
